I think of an Angel when I look at this picture, not sure why, & Shade would hate it if he knew it.
Sunday I asked Shade what he wanted to do for his birthday. He informed me he wanted to go paint balling with his friends. His birthday was Thursday, but we decided it would be better if he did that on Friday. Thursday we had Grandma Alice & Grandma & Grandpa Berta & Bob out for cake and ice cream. He was so cute, it is hard for me to believe he is 15 years old. It seems like just yesterday he was a chubby little baby. He is growing into such a neat young man. Sometimes I look at him and just want to cry. I start to panic about the next few years and all the big things that will be happening in his life. Then I remember I need to enjoy now, because it will be gone in a heart beat. It is such a fun age and he is so full of life and adventure. No holds barred, that's how he approaches life.

This picture is priceless, because Shade doesn't let us take his picture very often.

Shade with his bow looking thru his new sight.
He had a great time with his friends paint balling. He just bought himself a new bow, so we bought him the arrows and accessories he needs to use it. He was so excited. What a fun birthday.

Carter lit the candles and added the candle as an additional touch.

Make a wish, blow out the candles. I wish I knew what the wish was.
What a cutie - growing WAY TOO FAST!
