Spring might be here

Spring looks like it may have made its appearance in wintery Rexburg. I'm not holding my breath though, it's not June yet anything could happen (like snow). It has been beautiful the past 3 days, the sun is shining and it's pushing 50. I had to take this picture of Aspen laying in the only spot of sunlight in the living room. It reminded me of fighting over the beanbag while we were growing up so we could take a Sunday nap in the sun coming in the window. She loves to watch Dora & Diego, and today had her bear watching with her. All the chairs in the room and she has to find a cooler to sit on. Last night for young womens the Beehives went to The Ridge to play some racquetball. We had a blast, and it looks like we have some prospective racquetball players amongst us.

Today we went out in the knee deep cow poooooh (a sure sign of Spring) and loaded the cows into the trailer. I talked Shawn into selling them instead of butchering them, so they have escaped a nasty fate. We are going to send them to pasture with the bull and make mama's out of them. A much better fate in my opinion than the previous. Anyway, most of them loaded right up but there was one naughty one that caused a few swear words and broken stick. If only I could have told her her options I'm sure she would have jumped right in.

I was hoping to go riding this afternoon, but Carter's baseball practice was changed so I've been cleaning my house instead. I got my mopping & vaccuuming done, so now all I have is cleaning my bathroom. Not to bad for a day's work. Course it is only 2:30, I have 1/2 a day to go.

In my scripture reading I finished 3 Nephi. I just couldn't get enough of that book. The parts when Christ teaches the Nephites and blesses them. I wish I could have been there. I can see why after experiencing something like that every person was baptised and there was continual peace for 200 years. It would take a long time for people to forget that. It would be so neat to live during that time of righteousness. It really blew my mind when Mormon talks about the three disciples who were transfigured somehow and won't see death. It amazes me that they can go back and forth between heaven & earth. At least that is what I understand. Imagine what they have seen, and the sorrow they must feel at the wickedness of the world. It just shows the power of God and with him nothing is impossible.
