I went outside last night to check on the kids jumping bikes and noticed the horses excited about something in the field. So being the responsible adult, I looked where they were looking and there was a moose. He was munching away at our carefully grown & pruned dogwoods like it was a 5 star restaurant. After taking a few pictures, I had Morgan chase him to someone else's field for dinner. They seem to come out a lot this time of year, maybe because there moms are kicking them out to make room for baby brother or sister. So they wonder aimlessly for a while until they find a new home.
Later as I was watching a movie with the kids Aspen came in with her hair plastered to her hair. She says "look mom, you like it" Of course I told her it was very pretty and she went away. As I listened to see if I could hear her turn on the water, there was no sound. When she came in the next time and says, "Soo pretty, mom?" I knew I had to investigate. I asked her if she was putting water in her hair and she said no. I touched her hair and smelled it. Yep, just what you thought, "ramen noodle juice". After eating her noodles, she had proceeded to fix her hair with the juice. "Nice"
