Great Day

Shawn, Aspen & I had a great time together going shopping at Winco for groceries. Aspen got a kick out of the horn that kept honking on someone's car alarm as we were walking in. She had to help put everything in the cart, after she asked what everything was. When we went to the bread store I was going to leave her in the car with Shawn while I ran in real fast, but who can resist "Mommy I come in Pleeeaaase?" So she got her box of donuts too. On the way home we had to sing 15 miles worth of I am a Child of God, Once there was a snowman, Once there was a bishop, and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Oh and patty cake. I was looking for anything to distract her by the time we got home.

I went to pick Shade up from baseball practice and we went over to look at a cell phone for him. He still isn't real excited about getting one. Maybe I shouldn't push it, but it would sure would be nice to get hold of him with all of his running around. He sure is growing up and such a good boy. He is going to be a great man someday. I had a poster of bowflex excersizes in my car and he says "Mom why am I on that poster". Pretty funny, if you have never seen the bowflex guy he is not only cute but ripped. We had to buy him a new baseball mitt because he left his other one somewhere, someday he'll get thru the part where he forgets everything.

In my scripture study I have been reading in 3 Nephi when Christ visits the Nephites after his resurrection. It is amazing the love you can feel as he teaches, blesses & prays for them. I can't imagine hearing a prayer that that can't be written or spoken because it is so marvelous. I am trying to take notes, but it feels like I'm writing the whole thing because everything is so amazing. I sure have grown to love the Book of Mormon since I have been reading it this time.
