This & That

10 lbs baby! No I did not have a 10 lb baby, I lost 10 lbs. I have been doing this 17 day diet that Robert & Bob have been doing with so much success. My 1st goal was 10 lbs and when I hopped on the scale yesterday WhooHoo! There it was, 10 lbs gone. I was so excited and really amped for the next 10 lbs. I am feeling so much better, especially around my belly. I can actually sit and not feel like a have large water balloon in my middle. I would really like another 15 lbs gone, that would be awesome. That is my goal by the holidays, because I really don't want to have to worry about sticking to a diet during the holidays; that would just stink!

The potatoes are dug, picked, boxed & stacked! And that was a crazy lot of work. We spent all of yesterday out on our hands & knees digging & sifting through dirt, rocks & dirt clods to find these precious little red potatoes. The baseball team is selling boxes of them for a fund raiser, so fortunately we had a few of them out to help us, but it still took about 6 hours. Shawn & the kids did most of the digging, while I made boxes (500 hundred of them in fact), and ran back & forth up and down the rows delivering them. I swear I walked 10 miles before the day was done. By the end the guys were missing a lot of potatoes. They were just picking the ones off of the top. It kills me to see all that waste, so I will be out there Monday picking & digging trying to save those other potatoes. Not looking forward to it, but it's got to be done. Now hopefully we can sell all of them, so that it makes it all worth while.

I have been working on my personal progress medallion. As a leader I can earn mine also. I am really pretty close, I just need to do a few things for 2 or 3 three weeks like say my morning & night prayers and work on being closer to someone in my family(I have picked Shade, because it seems that with his school, I am always after him). I anticipate being release pretty soon, so hopefully I will get it completed before then. We have been in for 3 years the 1st of October.

Life is good. Our family is very blessed. I am so thankful, we are healthy and strong. I was thinking how tired I was last night, but how thankful & blessed we are as a family to go out and be able to WORK and get tired. It really is a good feeling to know you have worked hard at 100%. (and then be able to go sit in the hot tub!)
