Girls of Fall (Volleyball)

This Fall has been really busy between Morgan's volleyball and Carter's football. They each had practice each night & if they didn't have practice then they had a game. The problem was that Carter's practice started at 5:30 while Morgan's got done at 5:30. Thankfully, there was another girl Journee Sutton, and another boy Larz Sutton, on their teams each very close neighbors of ours. We were able to carpool most of the time and saved some of the hassle.

Morgan loved volleyball this year. She made it on the 7 & 8th grade A team, which put her on top of the world. Their team struggled to get it together most of the year, but at districts they did very well, considering how they did for the year. They went into districts seeded 6th out of 8 teams. Their 1st game was against the 3rd place team, which they won! Their 2nd game was against the 2nd place team and they took them to 3 games all very tight matches. Morgan learned alot and played very well. She will be working with Aunt Jenaee this Winter to improve her game.

Morgan has always played middle hitter, but they moved her to outside hitter because they had some really tall girls on the team.
