Carter was using his creative skills again yesterday. He loves to build & create things using his mind and imagination. Shawn always says he is going to be an architect or engineer when he grows up. Yesterday I went outside and he had cut a bunch of branches from the willow tree. He said he was building a bed so he could sleep outside. When it was finished it wasn't so much a bed, but a canopy for the hammock. He even lashed the trees together with bark that he had peeled off of the branches. Pretty ingenious if you ask me.
I was pretty sure he wouldn't last outside all night all by himself, but he was still out there this morning all snuggled up in the sleeping bag.
