Grandma Alice is sick

I got a text today from Heather saying they took Grandma Alice to hospital in the ambulance. She didn't have much information but they were thinking she might have a blood clot in her leg. When they got her there they took her into emergency surgery. I have been praying in my heart all day for her to be ok. It just wouldn't seem the same without her here. I called the temple and got her on the prayer list, maybe Shawn & I can slip away here in the next day or so to the temple to join in prayer for her. I just told Shade, Morgan & Carter last night that they needed to make it a goal in July to each go visit her at least one time during the month. Carter asked me a couple weeks ago if I knew anyone that had lived to 100. I told him "NO" and he said he was pretty sure Grandma Alice was going to because he saw her out walking with her friend at the park. I sure hope he is right. The one thing I really hope is that if she does live to 100 she has her health (at least as good as health as you can expect from a 87-100 year old grandma). I talked to Bob last night and he said she is out of surgery. They had to clean out some blockages in her arteries in her legs and they are worried about a possible blockage in her heart. Hopefully she can have a good attitude about this and heal quickly. We will go see her in the hospital tomorrow afternoon.
