I took the girls, Morgan & Aspen up to horse 4-H camp in Alpine. We pulled up the camper, or I should say Shawn pulled up the camper for us, and had a great time just hanging out with friends. This is Cassie Jeppsen, Cydney Robison & Aspen messing around.
I took Aspen because they have these clover bud classes for little kids and I thought she would love it. She did. The 1st day they made these cute little stick horses out of floaties. This was the trail class. They rode their horse through all of these fun little obsticles just like on the trail.
She carried the horse over the logs. Such a nice rider!
She had to back her horse through the cones.
...and rope a cow, that was pretty cute.
Morgan got bucked off of Doc, the horse she had been riding the week before camp. Both her & I were a little afraid to have her get back on, so I had her switch to riding Sunny. She was a little frustrated, because Sunny isn't as well trained. After riding all day every day for 3 days, they were doing much better together and they both learned alot.
