ONE down ONe to go...

I am walking around on one crutch & it is awesome! I find myself picking random things up and carrying them around just to say I can. I was really nervous about therapy this morning, not knowing what to expect. I was terrified to put weight on my leg. But..... I did it, everything she wanted me to which still wasn't much; leg presses, the bike & marching on my tiptoes on a ball (that was hard). When I got into the car to drive home my leg literally shook just pushing the gas peddle. After resting my leg when I got home, I couldn't wait to get out in the greenhouse. Although it is only about 45 degrees outside the greenhouse is about 75. SWEET! I did some weeding, fed the chicks and played with Aspen in the dirt. Going in the greenhouse is one of her favorite things to do. She has her own little Dora shovel that she sits and digs with. Anyway, just thought share my thoughts since, I am having an adrenaline rush right now. I will post some recovery pictures next time when I have a little more time. My child just let me know he left his bat bag home this morning even though as I got in the car to take him to school I asked if he needed. Of course he said "NO". He is trying to punish me for taking his car away from him this week.
