Bike jumping, building, crashing, rebuilding, jumping, crashing, crashing. This is what Shade and his buddies have spent every free hour doing the past few weeks. Personally I don't know how their bodies survive. Some of their crashes are incredible, and the bruises show it. But they just get up and do it again. They can't get enough. Shade bent his handle bars so he ordered some new "yellow" ones. I couldn't see where the old ones were really bent. I think he just really wanted the new ones, along with the new white pedals, new grips, & cool wallet. Oh well, I guess he works hard for his money he should get to spend some of it.These pictures tell the whole story, and this is not even half!
I don't even know alot of these kids, they just show up to jump, and this is not all of them.
I can't tell you HOW FAMILIAR this looks! This WAS Tyler's LIFE at one time - I'm going to tell him to come by for a visit. They have brought it to a NEW level with the 'sacrificial-car' - I must say, someone is really brave to put their car there!!!!!
ReplyDeleteTHAT FIRST PHOTO is priceless and should be entered into SOME photo contest - that's AWESOME! Great post.
That is frickin' awesome. I would have killed to have access to a tractor to build whatever we wanted.
ReplyDeleteShade NEEDS to be wearing a helmet though!!!! There is a reason why the best pro's in the world wear helmets. He doesn't want to get to the point where he HAS to wear a helmet like me:)
That is soooooo radical! Awesome pictures too! It brings back a lot of memories of dirt jumping in my parents backyard...
