Kittens

Monday the kids were out of school for Spring Break. The weather was just like it has been for the rest of Spring break "awful". I got up early to go excersize with Shawn and Aspen woke up so I wasn't able to go. Instead I put her back to sleep and decided I needed to do some work on the computer. "Side Note" Taz, our cat has been getting fatter and fatter daily. I thought she would have her kittens last week. We keep joking she's decided to grow them up inside. She's huge. She follows me around when we let her in the house, but she can't make it more than a few steps before she just collapses on the floor, all worn out. Anyway, this morning she had parked herself under my feet. A few hours later as I got up to put Dora on TV for Aspen she followed me into the bedroom and tried to climb in my bed. At this time I noticed things were happening that I didn't want to happen on my bed. This is her first batch of kittens and she's not even 1 year, so I got her some blankets all set up under the desk as that seemed to be where she wanted to be. Yep, 6 kittens later she's a mommy. We put the kittens out in the barn so that they wouldn't get mawled specifically by Aspen. The kids love them, just wait till we have to give them away.
