What is it?

I just got a call from the dentist and he has been in contact with the oral surgeon. After going over the x-ray and the fact that Morgan has had some pain in that area, (We went in last week because we thought she might have a cavity, but they couldn't find any reason for the pain..no cavity); they decided they wanted to do a CT scan to find out exactly what it is. He indicated there could be several reasons for it; an old injury (from sports or horse riding), he was asking about diabetes, a type of bone spur, or a cyst of some sort. He checked with the orthodontist and between the two of them decided that we need to get her a clean bill of health before going forward with braces tomorrow. I will be calling the Oral surgeon tomorrow to set up a time for the CT scan.
