Don't COMPLAIN, if you are not going to do something about it!

Sometimes I think I need to be a little more quiet with my opinions. I know I'm thinking to myself right now, Yeah Right! This time it got me into a pile of work, but here I am complaining about the work when really I was excited to do it. Just not on the time frame they gave me. The last few years I have been unhappy with the way they get buyers to the 4-H sale. So....I told them so. After 2 years and some other people also voicing their opinions, they called a meeting last week and invited about 12 people to be part of their committee. The meeting went really well, with them asking for help with the marketing part. Like a dummy I volunteered! So with less than a week before everything should be done, I have been working my tail off. I had some great help with the flyer from another person that is really good with that and social marketing: website, facebook & twitter. Between the two of us we got it done. I didn't get the mailers out as early as I had hoped; Thursday instead of Monday, but they are out and hopefully we get some buyers, or.... I might be out of a job next year! At least I gave it my best shot in the time they gave me.
